The Delaware Valley Choral Society is a 501(c)(3) (non-profit) organization dedicated to performing choral works for the enjoyment of our community in the tri-state area of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey.
The Delaware Valley Choral Society provides an opportunity for all interested and qualified singers to perform in a choral organization. The Choral Society encourages student musicians to fully participate with the Society; indeed the Society collaborates with other groups to perform major choral works along with professional instrumentalists .
The Choral Society seeks to stimulate interest in choral music by the presentation of high-quality programs, and by encouraging and performing original compositions. Many compositions of local composers have been included in our concert programs.
We seek a diverse membership – there are no barriers to full participation on the basis of gender, race, age, creed, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity or disability. New members are welcome any time during the concert season.

We’re a friendly group of people who love to sing and make beautiful music for the enjoyment of everyone in the Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey area. We perform two major concerts a year, fall and spring; in addition to that we perform in small venues at the request of other organizations from time to time. We would love to have you join us!

Do I have to audition?
Yes, but it is very painless – we just want to know if you can carry a tune – and it allows us to place you in the section that best matches your voice range.
What is the cost of membership?
Dues are $50 per concert.
Do I have to buy music?
No, music is provided at the beginning of each rehearsal season along with rehearsal and/or performance CDs which help you learn the music faster.
When and where do you rehearse?
Rehearsals are held every Sunday, except for holiday weekends, from 2-4 PM at the Milford United Methodist Church located at 206 East Ann Street, Milford, PA
What is the rehearsal schedule?
For the fall concert, rehearsals are scheduled from the end of August to the beginning of December.
For the spring concert, rehearsals are scheduled from the beginning of January to the end of May.
